Stephanie's, Together Again

I am so blessed to have an amazing bond with one of the most kick ass women I know. She is a sister to me and we live far apart. Luckily her wonderful hubby found very cheap tickets from Houston to Cedar Rapids so they came to visit us for a glorious two days!

We got to just relax, grill out a lot, drink some beer and just laugh together :) Stephanie and James are blessed with two beautiful little boys, Owen is nearly two and Cole is four months. Bella and Owen just adored each other, they played so well together!!!! Bella just loved little baby Cole, she especially loved holding him and looked so cute doing it :) She liked having them visit so much that she asked me for a little brother, or two, hahaha.

Visits like this are rare and of course I documented it with many pictures, I will post a few of my favorites. Thank you Stephanie, James, Owen and Cole for an amazing visit, we miss y'all (haha) like crazy and I can't wait until we can see you again. Hopefully we won't have to wait two years this time!

First Recital

Bella Jean had her first dance recital this past weekend. It has been amazing to watch her dance teacher Michelle teach these little 3 and 4 year olds how to do a dance, seriously, she amazes me. Trying to keep the attention of these adorable kids would make me nuts!

Bella did a tap routine, she looked so darn adorable in her costume and so grown up with her makeup on! I just can't believe how quickly my little princess is growing up. Most of my family were able to make it for Bella's big event, she wasn't shy at all and just marched out onto the stage ready to dance!

We will see where her dancing takes her, she seems to be wanting to do ballet more than anything so we may move her to a studio that only teaches ballet. We will see how she feels after a summer off :) We couldn't be more proud of our little peanut!

Zachy Graduated!!!

Late post, but, he did it :) My handsome nephew Zachary John Lawrence Koch graduated from Kennedy High School. He received three academic medals and will be joining the Marines.

Zach will be working for the summer at US Corrugated, a great summer job for him to save up a nice chunk of money before he leaves us. I'm so proud of this kid, he is truly amazing and has been through so much in his young age, to accomplish what he has and to have such big plans for his future is just monumental.

We love you Zach, and the your future is full of amazing possibilities!!
